The short version: you submit your brief, Cee emails you the studio shipping instructions, you ship your piece in with tracking, and nothing gets painted until your price is confirmed.

Step by step

  1. Submit your brief. Photos, dimensions, finish tier, the works. If you locked in an instant estimate, you pay the top of your range at checkout. That is your maximum, guaranteed.
  2. Get the studio shipping instructions. After you submit, Cee sends the studio address and packing guidance to your email.
  3. Ship it in. You cover the shipping to the studio and keep the tracking number. Pack it like it matters: bubble wrap, a snug box, no rattle.
  4. Arrival check. Your piece is photographed the day it arrives and your quote is confirmed before any paint touches it. If your project is quoted lower than what you paid, the difference comes back to you. The price never goes above your paid max without your approval.
  5. Painting begins. Rush orders jump the queue.
  6. The trip home. Return shipping rides your order: free over the store's free shipping threshold, standard rates otherwise. Finished pieces worth $100 or more ship back insured.

Insurance on the way in

Carriers do not cover art damage unless you add insurance, and the studio cannot cover your piece while it is in transit. If your piece is worth $100 or more, add insurance with your carrier when you ship. It is a few dollars for real peace of mind.

If it arrives damaged

You get photos the day it lands, and you decide what happens next: a repair quote before any work begins, or a return. Nothing moves forward without your say.

If it is not what the photos showed

Estimates are based on what you submitted. If the piece that arrives differs materially from your photos, you approve a revised quote before work begins, or you get a full refund. No surprise charges, ever.
