This was a stacked week across the shop, with NECA's Alien: Earth and Predator: Badlands ultimates leading a deep bench of DC, Marvel, and G.I. Joe reveals. San Diego Comic-Con exclusives from Super7 and Beast Kingdom kept the convention energy going right into the weekend.
Mattel Masters of the Universe First Ones Battle for Eternia Playset

Mattel's First Ones line just put its Battle for Eternia playset back in stock on Amazon, and it's the rare case where a single box gives you both of MOTU's iconic strongholds. Castle Grayskull and Snake Mountain fold out side by side or split apart, so you can build one battlefield or keep the fortresses separate depending on how you want to display them. The details are what sell it for us as makers: a movie-accurate Sword Altar for the Sword of Power, a removable Evil Bone Throne for Skeletor, a working Jawbridge, a zipline, and a lock-up area for prisoners. Toss in the exclusive Golden Armor Skeletor and a 27-inch wide footprint when opened, and this is a genuine centerpiece for anyone building out a MOTU display shelf, not just another accessory pack.
Super7 ThunderCats ULTIMATES! Lion-O and Mumm-Ra (LED Lightup) Action Figures (SDCC 2026 Exclusive)

Super7 opened pre-orders on their SDCC 2026 exclusive ThunderCats ULTIMATES! Lion-O and Mumm-Ra two pack, and the LED light-up eyes are the detail that jumps out to us immediately. At 7-inch scale with 27 points of articulation, these are built to actually pose, not just stand on a shelf looking pretty, and that matters a lot when you're recreating scenes from the 1985 series. Lion-O and Mumm-Ra have always been the definitive hero and villain pairing for ThunderCats collectors, and pairing them together as a convention exclusive makes this a genuine grail for anyone chasing SDCC exclusives. We appreciate figures that put engineering into the small stuff like lighting, since that's exactly the kind of detail that separates a display piece from a toy.
Heatboys Hefig Series TMNT Michelangelo 1/9th Scale Action Figure (Deluxe and Standard Edition)

Heatboys dropped pre-orders on their HEFIG 1/9th scale Michelangelo, and the accessory count alone makes this one worth flagging. Both the Standard and Deluxe editions come loaded with swappable hands, a skateboard, a boombox with cassette tape, nunchaku with multiple effect parts, and enough small gear to fill out a whole diorama. The Deluxe edition goes further with a bonus interchangeable head sculpt and a full "Street Rapper" alternate look that completely changes his vibe from the standard release. Built from diecast, plastic, and magnets at 7.87 inches tall, this is clearly aimed at collectors who want posability and swap options over a simple static figure, and that kind of engineering is exactly what gets us excited about a new TMNT release.
McFarlane Toys DC Super Powers Wave 15 (Entertainment Earth Exclusive Case)

McFarlane just opened pre-orders on Wave 3 of the DC Super Powers line through Entertainment Earth, and this case rounds out six figures: Harley Quinn, Superman Red, Superman Blue, Red Tornado, Batman, and Batgirl. We spend a lot of time in the studio thinking about how retro toy lines translate into physical objects, and this one leans hard into that 1980s Kenner-style silhouette while still reading as a modern collectible. Superman split into Red and Blue variants is a fun callback for anyone who grew up with the vintage line, and having Batgirl in the wave gives it a roster that actually feels complete instead of padded with filler. It's an Entertainment Earth exclusive case of six, so if you want the full set you're committing to the whole wave rather than picking favorites.

Hasbro Marvel Legends Series 6" Scarlet Witch & Vision 2-Pack Figures

Hasbro just opened pre-orders on their Marvel Legends 6-inch Scarlet Witch and Vision two pack straight out of San Diego Comic-Con, priced at $55.99 with a ship date landing in October 2026. Both figures are based on their classic Marvel Comics appearances rather than a movie tie-in, which is exactly the kind of comic-accurate pairing that's been missing from a lot of recent Marvel Legends waves. Vision and Scarlet Witch rarely get released together in the same wave, so bundling them as a set solves a shelf-matching problem a lot of collectors run into. If you've been waiting on a comic-based Vision figure specifically, this is the one to grab before the October window closes and prices start climbing on the secondary market.
Hasbro Star Wars The Vintage Collection Amani Guard (Deluxe) Figure

Hasbro opened pre-orders on the Star Wars Vintage Collection Amani Guard in its Deluxe configuration, priced at $27.99 and expected to ship in November 2026. This is another SDCC reveal, and the Vintage Collection line has built its reputation on exactly this kind of deep-cut character getting proper treatment instead of just the obvious hero figures. The Amani Guard isn't a character most casual fans will recognize, which is precisely why Vintage Collection completionists tend to jump on figures like this fast before they vanish from shelves. At under thirty dollars it's an easy add to a Star Wars order, especially for anyone building out background and guard figures alongside their main cast.
Takara-Tomy Transformers Missing Link C-10 Ultra Magnus Figure

Takara-Tomy's Missing Link C-10 Ultra Magnus is available now and already sold out at several other retailers, so this may be one of the last easy chances to grab him before secondary market prices take over. He's priced at $194.99 and built around his vintage 1980s toy design with updated articulation, which is the whole appeal of the Missing Link line: honoring the original silhouette while making the engineering modern. The included set is substantial too, with a trailer, buggy, Matrix, four missiles, a blaster, five conversion parts, and a mini figure rounding out the package. For Transformers collectors chasing G1-accurate updates, a figure this loaded with accessories at this price point is worth moving on quickly given how fast retailers are running out.
DC Comics Absolute Batman: Deluxe Edition Vol. 1

Cee flagged DC Comics' Absolute Batman: Deluxe Edition Vol. 1 as it went up for preorder on Amazon this week, and it's worth a look for anyone building out an Absolute Universe collection alongside their figures. The deluxe format collects the acclaimed opening arc in a hardcover built for display, not just a reading copy. It's a solid pairing on a shelf next to the McFarlane Absolute Batman statue also covered this week, giving collectors a matched set of the character's redesigned look in both print and sculpt.
Battlestar Galactica 3.75-Inch Wave 2

Today's roundup swings from Gotham's Dark Multiverse to the Fantastic Four's underground kingdom, with Mezco's towering Solomon Grundy and a fully loaded Heatboys Michelangelo leading the pack. Factory Entertainment just gave collectors their first look at Wave 2 of the Battlestar Galactica 3.75 inch line, and it's a deep cut for anyone who lived through the original series. The lineup covers six figures: Commander Adama, Lieutenant Athena, Lord Baltar, Lucifer, and dress uniform versions of Starbuck and Apollo. Putting the crew in their formal blues alongside the ship's sinister Cylon agent Lucifer says a lot about how far this line is willing to go beyond battle gear. No pricing or release window yet, this is strictly a preview, but we'll be watching for details as they land.

Solomon Grundy

Mezco's One:12 Collective is tackling one of DC's most gruesome brawlers with Solomon Grundy, and the sculpt leans hard into the decay. The roughly 20cm figure runs on the hyper articulated One:12 body with over 32 points of movement, wrapped in a genuinely distressed tattered jacket, shirt, and pants that look like they've spent decades in the swamp. Three interchangeable head portraits (snarling, angry, and frowning) plus three pairs of hands let you swap Grundy from a lumbering menace to a full on rampage. He comes swinging a torn up tree trunk as his signature weapon and ships on a display base with an adjustable post. Pre orders are live now at $120, with a February 2027 ship date.

NBA SportsPicks Wave 1

McFarlane Toys is kicking off Wave 1 of its NBA SportsPicks line at 6 inch scale, and the opening roster leans hard into current era star power. The five figures are LeBron James, Brandon Ingram, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Donovan Mitchell, and Victor Wembanyama. It's a strong first wave, pairing an established icon in LeBron with several of the league's rising franchise cornerstones. Pre orders are open now through Entertainment Earth.

Dark Nights Metal: Batman the Devastator and Batman the Dawnbreaker

INART Action is previewing two new additions to its Dark Nights Metal lineup at 1/12 scale, Batman the Devastator and Batman the Dawnbreaker. Both are twisted, corrupted takes on Batman pulled from the Dark Multiverse, and INART's preview shots lean fully into that grim, otherworldly design instead of a standard suit reissue. Pre orders open July 31st, so full specs and pricing should land soon after. If you collect the darker corners of the Batman mythos, this is one to watch.
TMNT Michelangelo: Deluxe Edition

Heatboys is going all out with its HEFIG Series Michelangelo, a 1/9th scale Deluxe Edition standing about 20cm tall and built from PVC, ABS, POM, magnet, and alloy parts. The accessory count alone tells you this is a loaded release: two interchangeable heads, two alternate bandanas, seven pairs of swappable hands, a skateboard with effect parts, a boombox and cassette tape, sunglasses, a crossbody bag, nunchaku with interchangeable handles and effect parts, and even a slice of pizza. That's a whole 90s skater aesthetic packed into one figure, right down to the portable cassette player and baseball cap. Pre orders open July 31st with a Q4 2026 release.

Evangelion Test Type-01: Pseudo DMS Phase

threezero's ROBO-DOU line is tackling the Evangelion Test Type-01 in its Pseudo DMS Phase, and this might be the most feature packed Eva figure they've done yet. Standing about 9.8 inches tall on a die-cast interior frame with roughly 48 points of articulation, the figure uses UV-reactive paint on its red armor plating for a movie accurate glow, plus a transparent left arm to capture the unit's transformation state. LED light-up eyes, an interchangeable broken chest that exposes the core, and a pair of A.T. Field effects for defense and attack, both with stands, let you build out full battle-damage displays. It also ships with a halo and stand, an alternate Dramatic Rage head without the LED feature, extra hands, and a ROBO-DOU action stand to hold it all up.

Avengers: Doomsday Captain America, Doctor Doom and Thor

Bandai Namco is rolling out three new S.H.Figuarts figures tied to Avengers: Doomsday, covering Captain America, Doctor Doom, and Thor. Pricing is set per figure, with Captain America at $149.99, Doctor Doom at $99.99, and Thor at $89.99, and ship windows split between December 2026 and February 2027 depending on the character. S.H.Figuarts has built its reputation on movie accurate proportions and heavy articulation for exactly this kind of ensemble lineup, so seeing a villain like Doctor Doom get the same treatment as the heroes is a nice touch. Pre orders are open now at BigBadToyStore, with Entertainment Earth and Amazon listings expected to follow.

Marvel Legends Mole Man and Moloids

Straight out of San Diego Comic Con, Hasbro has opened pre orders for a new Marvel Legends set built around Mole Man and his Moloids, pulled from the pages of Fantastic Four. The set is priced at $39.99 and set to ship in October 2026. Mole Man rarely gets modern figure treatment outside Fantastic Four specific waves, so a set that bundles him with his Moloid army is a nice deep pull for Marvel Legends collectors building out their Fantastic Four rogues gallery. Pre orders are live now at Entertainment Earth and Amazon.

BigBadWorkshop Longbox Heroes Prestige The Tick Figures

Today's roundup runs from a new G.I. Joe Classified Battle Suit to a wave of Super7 SDCC exclusives, with McFarlane, Hiya Toys, and Nacelle rounding out a packed slate. The Mars S.N.A.K.E. Battle Suit and the Mad Marauders trio lead the pack for anyone building out a Cobra shelf this fall. BigBadWorkshop just teased a fresh wave for their Longbox Heroes Prestige line, and this one goes deep into The Tick's rogues gallery. The lineup covers Chairface Chippendale, a Terror and Man Eating Cow two pack, Barry the Hubris Tick, Arthur, and even a Multiple Santa figure. At 1/12 scale these fit right alongside the rest of the Prestige series on a shelf. No pricing or release window yet, just the reveal, but the character spread alone says a lot about how far this license has come from just Tick and Arthur.
G.I. Joe Classified Series Mars S.N.A.K.E. Battle Suit

Hasbro's Classified Series adds another vehicle-scale threat with the M.A.R.S. S.N.A.K.E. Battle Suit, an Amazon exclusive built to swallow a captured Joe and brainwash them into fighting for Cobra. The cockpit fits most 6-inch figures from the line, and the suit itself hinges open at the entryway for easy loading. Fifteen accessory pieces come in the box, including a flamethrower with three flame effects, a power claw, laser cannon, jetpack, twin fuel tanks, and swappable wrist attachments. It's listed at $79.99 with pre-orders live now on Amazon, and Hasbro has it slated for Fall 2026.
G.I. Joe Classified Series Retro Cardback Flash, Cobra Valkyrie and Falcon

Three retro cardback figures are hitting the Classified Series line at once: Falcon, Cobra Valkyrie, and Flash, each priced at $27.99. Falcon comes loaded with a backpack, knife, his signature beret, a removable scarf, and a stand, fitting his role training foreign troops against Cobra on the ground. Cobra Valkyrie carries a helmet and six weapon accessories fit for a soldier who escorts the fallen straight to Valhalla. Flash rounds out the wave with his XMLR-1A laser rifle, power pack, connecting tube, and helmet, gear that suits a guy working on a master's in electronic engineering between missions.

G.I. Joe Classified Series Mad Marauders Footloose, Mutt and Junkyard

The Mad Marauders land as a three-figure set this time: Footloose, Mutt, and his dog Junkyard, priced at $74.99 for the trio. Footloose brings a bazooka with rocket, backpack, knife, helmet, and three extra weapons, while Mutt comes with six alternate hands, some mid dog-trainer signal, plus a nightstick, mask, and twin goggles. Junkyard gets swappable heads, a calm good boy face and a growling one, a nice touch for a dog figure. Together the set packs 23 accessory pieces, more than enough to pose this fast attack ground unit exactly how Cobra fears them.
Super7 SDCC 2026 Exclusives

Super7 dropped a full wave of SDCC 2026 exclusives, and there's something for nearly every corner of a toy shelf. Highlights include a Micronauts ReAction+ Baron Karza and Biotron two pack, Toho's glow in the dark Godzilla '89 and Mechagodzilla '93, and a four pack of Mutagen Ooze TMNT turtles that also glow. ThunderCats fans get Mumm-Ra and Lion-O ULTIMATES figures with LED light up eyes, while Invincible collectors can grab a battle ready Battle Beast. G.I. Joe rounds it out with a Python Patrol Cobra Trooper and Trubble Bubble vehicle set.

Hiya Toys Persona 5 Royal Exquisite Basic Fox

Hiya Toys is bringing Fox into the EXQUISITE BASIC line straight from Persona 5 Royal, capturing the Phantom Thief in his signature suit, blue gloves, and white boots. He stands about 15.4cm tall with a detachable kitsune mask, so you can pose him masked or bare faced depending on the scene. The accessory count is generous: two interchangeable faces, seven interchangeable hands, a katana with scabbard, a rifle, and a display stand. The fox tail tassel and layered paint work are doing a lot to sell the screen accuracy here, which matters for a character built around artistic sensibility.

McFarlane's NFL SportsPicks Wave 1

McFarlane is kicking off a new NFL SportsPicks wave at 6-inch scale, and the roster for Wave 1 is stacked: Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Jordan Love, Justin Jefferson, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Saquon Barkley. Each figure ships with a football and a display base, and the articulation is built for full range posing rather than static stances. It's a strong opening lineup mixing quarterbacks and skill position players across six different teams. Preorders are open now for anyone building out a sports shelf alongside the usual comic and movie figures.

Jakks Pacific The Simpsons Collector Edition Chosen One Homer and Fat Tony

Jakks Pacific is teasing a new Collector Edition pairing straight out of the Stonecutters episode, with Chosen One Homer and Fat Tony as 5-inch figures. It's a deep cut Simpsons reference that longtime fans will recognize immediately. Details are still thin since this surfaced via IamRetro rather than an official product listing, so there's no price or release date to share yet. Still, a Stonecutters figure is exactly the kind of niche pull that makes a Simpsons shelf feel complete.

McFarlane Toys DC Super Powers Wave 13

McFarlane's DC Super Powers line keeps rolling with Wave 13, an Entertainment Earth exclusive case built around six figures: Supergirl, Power Girl, Cyborg Superman, Eradicator, a 90s Hal Jordan Green Lantern, and an Earth 2 Robin. These stick to the classic 4.5-inch nostalgia scale with around 7 points of articulation and blister card packaging that updates the original 1980s art and logos. Supergirl, Power Girl, Cyborg Superman, Eradicator, and Robin all get soft fabric capes instead of molded plastic, and Hal Jordan comes with his power battery accessory. It's a solid mix of classic Kryptonians and a couple of deeper cuts for anyone chasing the full Super Powers wall.

Good Smile is bringing Yuriko Okada into the figma line as the second-generation Electro-Wave Human Tackle from Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider. The helmet is fully removable through interchangeable parts, and the goggles ship in both translucent and non-translucent versions for the clear lens look. Two skirt parts cover standing and action poses, the kind of detail that makes figma releases worth the wait.

Digism DIGACTION Fist of the North Star Rei

Digism's DIGACTION line adds Rei from Fist of the North Star, built small at 3.15 inches but engineered for a wide range of movement. The figure can reproduce Nanto Suichoken, one of the more recognizable techniques of the Nanto Rokusei Ken, which says a lot about how the articulation is engineered. It ships in ABS, PVC, and POM plastics with an extra head part and five interchangeable hands to switch up the posing. For a compact scale figure this one is punching above its size in accessory count.

McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl and Poison Ivy Platinum Editions

McFarlane's DC Multiverse line just landed a trio of Platinum Editions: Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, and Poison Ivy, all now in stock. If you already have the standard releases of any of these three, this is the chance to grab the shelf-exclusive finish.
Nacelle Toys Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa SDCC 2026 Exclusive

NECA The Muppets: Ultimate Mahna Mahna and the Snowths 7" Scale Action Figure 3-Pack

SDCC 2026 fallout is still rolling in, and today's roundup is stacked with exclusives, pre-orders, and wave reveals worth your attention. NECA, McFarlane, Beast Kingdom, Hasbro Marvel Legends, and Star Wars all made moves in the last 24 hours. Here's everything worth knowing. NECA's Ultimate Mahna Mahna and the Snowths set is officially up for pre-order, and it's one of the more unexpected drops we've seen out of the Muppets license lately. The 7" scale 3-pack brings the shaggy pink weirdo and his two backup singers to life with the kind of sculpt detail and fabric-accurate texturing NECA has built its Muppets line on. This is a novelty pickup for a lot of collectors, but the character-specific detailing on Mahna Mahna's fur and the Snowths' felt-look bodies makes it worth a closer look even if you're not usually chasing this license. Pre-orders are live now for anyone who wants to lock one down ahead of shipping.

McFarlane Toys 1/12 Scale Sportspicks NBA and NFL Legends Series 1 Figures

McFarlane Toys is kicking off a new 1/12 scale Sportspicks Legends line, and Series 1 goes straight for the hall-of-famers. Larry Bird and Magic Johnson headline the basketball side, while Troy Aikman and Jerry Rice represent football, all rendered in McFarlane's larger 1/12 scale format instead of the classic smaller Sportspicks size. The bigger scale gives these figures room for sharper facial sculpts and more game-accurate uniform detail than past waves. For collectors who grew up with the original Sportspicks line, this feels like a proper evolution rather than a rehash.

Built on the line's slimmer DAH body with around 22 points of articulation and standing about 8 inches tall, the figure captures the muted silver S emblem and the more subdued costume palette that fans associate with the character's darker turns. Beast Kingdom included four pairs of interchangeable hands, which opens up a solid range of flight and combat poses on the shelf. This one is capped at 1,500 pieces, making it one of the more attainable SDCC exclusives in this batch, but still worth moving on quickly.

Mixing X-Men characters in with the core Avengers roster signals just how big this movie's ensemble is going to be, and Hasbro clearly wants shelves stocked well before the film hits. Dr. Cyborn and Aracula are updated, Legions-compatible versions of characters from the original toy line, while Bone-Zai pulls from a design that was never actually produced back in the day.
