Today's batch of toy news is headlined by some heavy hitters. Pre-orders went live for the TMNT x G.I. Joe crossover line, McFarlane revealed their new DC Super Powers lineup, and Hot Toys put Masters of the Universe collectors on notice with a 1/6 scale He-Man and Skeletor tease.
Playmates TMNT x G.I. Joe Crossover Figures
Playmates' final TMNT hurrah is here and it's going out loud. Pre-orders went live today for the TMNT x G.I. Joe crossover line, covering eight figures in the 4.5 to 5.25 inch range: Leo as Snake Eyes, Donnie as Dial-Tone, Mikey as Shipwreck, Raph as Roadblock, Shredder as Cobra Commander, Krang as Destro (with alternate weapon hands), Slash as Storm Shadow, and Bebop and Rocksteady as Ripper and Buzzer. Two vehicles are in the mix: the Turtle-Fly Copter with spinning katana blades, firing missiles, and a rappel line, and the AWE Shell-Striker which bundles an exclusive April/Scarlett hybrid figure. Amazon gets a Turtle-Fly Copter exclusive with Raph as Wild Bill, and SDCC will have a Snake Eyes/Leo set with Timber and Rahzar. This is confirmed as a one-and-done run since Playmates loses the TMNT license to Mattel at year's end.

McFarlane Toys DC Super Powers Wave 1
McFarlane Toys and Entertainment Earth are launching a new DC Super Powers line, and Wave 1 brings six figures at the 4.5 inch retro scale. The roster covers Supergirl, Cyborg Superman, Power Girl, Eradicator, Hal Jordan Green Lantern, and Robin. Pre-orders go live May 26 at noon Eastern, exclusive to Entertainment Earth for now. The announcement mentions at least four more waves already in development, which tells you this is a serious long-term commitment to the Super Powers format.

Hot Toys Masters of the Universe: He-Man and Skeletor 1/6 Scale
Hot Toys just announced 1/6 scale He-Man and Skeletor figures for Masters of the Universe, and the tease is enough to get collectors planning shelf space. No price, release window, or accessories list has been shared yet. What is confirmed is that both characters are coming in 1/6 scale under the Hot Toys banner. For MOTU fans who have wanted the franchise at that level of detail, this is the announcement they have been waiting for.

Masters of the Universe Movie Origins: Skele-Knight
Mattel revealed the Skele-Knight for the Masters of the Universe Movie Origins line, and this reads as the foot-soldier army-builder that Eternia displays have been missing. The figure ships with alternate heads: one with heavier black markings on the cheeks designating a leader variant, and others configured as standard soldiers for building out the ranks. No US release date or price has been announced.
Mattel DC Core 6.5 Inch Wave 2
Fresh images surfaced for Mattel's DC Core 6.5 inch Wave 2, showing four new individual figures and a three-pack. The solo figures include John Stewart Green Lantern, a Jokerized Batman, Stealth Suit Batman, and Superman, while the three-pack brings Man-Bat, Nightwing, and another Batman. Wave 1 hits June 1 in the US, with Wave 2 targeting around August. Individual figures are expected to run $12.99 each.
