Today's roundup swings from McFarlane's fully loaded Elite Edition Geiger to Medicom's pitch dark take on The Dark Knight Returns, with a kaiju pre-order and a surprise Skylanders drop rounding things out.
Geiger (Image Comics & Ghost Machine Elite Edition)
McFarlane's Elite Edition take on Geiger, the glowing survivor from Geoff Johns and Gary Frank's Ghost Machine universe, is up for pre-order now. This 7 inch scale figure comes loaded: an alternate head portrait, six extra hands, two batons, shackles, a skull, a pistol, and a display base, plus Geiger's dog Barney and his pet spider riding along. The real hook for collectors is the packed in extras, an art card signed by Johns himself and an exclusive comic with a glow in the dark cover. It's the kind of loadout that makes an Elite Edition worth the upcharge over a standard release. We'd love to see how this sculpt reads under a wash and some careful drybrushing on that battle damaged jacket.

Batman and Superman: The Dark Knight Falls Ver.
Medicom's MAFEX line is revisiting Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns with a new Batman and Superman pairing, both up for pre-order now. This version of Batman leans into a near pitch black color scheme built for the story's darkest panels, paired with MAFEX's usual dense articulation and a fresh accessory loadout. Superman rounds out the confrontation these two are famous for, letting collectors finally stage the fight that redefined both characters for a generation of readers. MAFEX has quietly been one of the best import lines for comic accurate sculpts, and this pairing keeps that streak going.
Godzilla (Godzilla vs. Megaguirus)
Hiya Toys has rolled the Exquisite Basic line back to 2000's Godzilla vs. Megaguirus, and this pre-order captures the suit from one of the more overlooked entries in the franchise. Standing about 7.1 inches tall, the sculpt leans into the film's rugged, gray green hide with purple pink gradients running across the dorsal fins, right down to the layered texture work. Multiple body joints and a multi jointed tail keep the pose options wide open, and two interchangeable hands are included for swapping between clawing and battle stances. For the price point, Hiya's Exquisite Basic figures keep punching above their weight for kaiju collectors who don't want to commit to a full sixth scale piece.

Man-At-Arms: Masters of the Universe Origins Sketchbook Series
The next entry in Mattel's MOTU Origins Sketchbook Series has surfaced online, this time bringing Man-At-Arms into the concept art inspired lineup. It's listed at Target.com but not yet open for order, so this is an early heads up rather than a buy now alert. The Sketchbook Series has carved out a nice niche in the MOTU Origins line, reimagining classic characters through a more illustrative, hand sketched aesthetic instead of the usual clean toy sculpt. Once Target opens pre-orders and pricing shows up we'll have more to share, but it's worth bookmarking if you've been chasing the rest of the series.
Dark Spyro: Skylanders Collection Chrome Variant
YouTooz and Entertainment Earth teamed up on a Dark Spyro exclusive, bringing the corrupted version of the original Skylanders mascot back into vinyl form after years of near silence on the license. The chrome variant stands just over 3 inches tall, cast in black scales with deep red eyes and a pair of silver horns, with his signature wings and tail spikes rendered in a reflective chrome finish. It ships in the usual embossed YouTooz sleeve with a custom fitted plastic protector, so it should arrive in good shape even for shelf collectors who care about packaging condition. It's a small release, but for anyone who grew up with the Portal of Power this is a nice reminder the brand still has some life left in it.

Doctor Who: Funko POP! Vinyl Figures
Funko's newest Doctor Who POP! Vinyl wave just opened for pre-order at Entertainment Earth. There isn't a lot of extra detail out yet on the exact character lineup, just the figures themselves rendered in Funko's usual stylized sculpt and window box packaging. It's a smaller pickup compared to some of Funko's bigger licensed waves this month, but Doctor Who collectors tend to grab these regardless of scale. Worth checking before pre-orders close out.

DAH DC Absolute Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman
Beast Kingdom dropped a preview image for its upcoming Dynamic 8ction Heroes take on DC's Absolute Batman, the same design collectors first got a look at during SDCC. The same preview gives a glimpse of Absolute Superman and Absolute Wonder Woman lined up alongside him, though full details on either are still pending. The Absolute line has been one of DC's stronger recent redesigns, all harder edges and rougher costuming, and Beast Kingdom's DAH format tends to translate that kind of style well into an actual shelf piece. No pricing or release window yet, but this is one worth keeping an eye on once Beast Kingdom locks in specifics.
