Five things happened in AI and tech this week that actually matter if you run a small creative business. Google gave Gemini a real home base for shop owners, ElevenLabs quietly shipped three voice and sound tools in one update, Bambu Lab is folding the biggest AI 3D generators into MakerWorld, Tripo rolled out a way to save 3D workflows instead of rebuilding them every time, and Anthropic wired Claude into the CAD tools a lot of makers already use. Here is what happened and why it is worth your attention.
Gemini now has a dedicated small business hub

Google gave Gemini its own landing page built specifically for small business owners, pulling brand building, financial insights from receipts and spreadsheets, and customer insights into one place. It also connects to apps a lot of shop owners already use, including Shopify, Canva, and Xero, and it remembers your brand style so generated images stay consistent. If you run a one person creative business and juggle marketing, bookkeeping, and customer questions yourself, this is worth a look. It will not replace a real bookkeeper or a thought out brand, but it is a free way to get a faster first pass on both.
ElevenLabs shipped a sound effects upgrade, realtime voice, and better clones in one week

ElevenLabs rolled out SFX v3, which builds richer multi layered sound effects from a single prompt, alongside realtime voice mode for every workspace and improved professional voice clones. For anyone making product videos, behind the scenes content, or commission walkthroughs, this means better background audio and narration without hiring a sound designer or a voice actor for every clip. A clean voiceover and a believable sound layer make a short product video feel a lot more finished, and that is now a lot closer to a one person job.
Bambu Lab is bringing the top AI 3D generators into MakerWorld

Bambu Lab is adding a new tool called Aimia to MakerWorld that lets you turn a text description or a reference photo into a print ready model, choosing between five different AI 3D engines in one place instead of hopping between separate apps. It also cleans up geometry and converts full color textures into color schemes for multicolor printing. If you print on a Bambu machine and have ever wanted a quick starting model for a commission mockup or a one off prop, this removes a lot of the usual back and forth between generator, cleanup software, and slicer.
Tripo now lets you save AI 3D workflows instead of rebuilding them

Tripo launched Agentic Canvas, a node based workspace where you chain together generation and editing steps and save the whole thing as a reusable workflow instead of starting from scratch every time. For a shop that generates a lot of similar pieces, like product variations or consistent character props, that turns a one off AI generation into something closer to a repeatable production step. If you have been meaning to try AI assisted 3D modeling for mockups or quick prototypes, this is a good moment to open an account and see what a saved workflow can do for your turnaround time.
Claude can now work directly inside Fusion, Blender, and SketchUp

Anthropic released connectors that let Claude work inside Autodesk Fusion, Blender, and SketchUp, so a designer can describe a change in plain language and have it happen in the actual CAD file instead of just getting a description back. The Blender connector can also read an entire scene and help debug or batch apply changes across objects. For makers doing serious CAD work rather than quick sculpting, this closes some of the gap between describing an idea and having a usable file, though it is still worth checking the output carefully before you commit a print to it.
That's Tech Thursday
That's the tech and AI news that actually matters for creators this week. Want it turned into something physical? That's what the studio does. See you next Thursday.
