Hasbro's New York Comic-Con press event and a new premium tier from NECA headline a packed news day, alongside a deluxe Laser Light Skeletor and a proper Star Wars Rebels figure set.
Killer Klowns From Outer Space Retro Figures
Syndicate Collectibles is bringing the 1988 cult classic to retro plastic with a wave of 3.75 inch Killer Klowns From Outer Space figures. The lineup covers all four core klowns, Rudy, Shorty, Fatso, and Jumbo, each built on five points of articulation and leaning hard into the exaggerated carnival horror look the movie is known for. Every klown ships with its own weapon of choice: Rudy's Popcorn Bazooka, Shorty's Klown Bat, Fatso's Cotton Candy Blaster, and Jumbo's circus mallet. It's a fun format for a movie that doesn't get much figure attention, and that kind of oversized character prop is exactly what we like referencing for a custom build in the studio. Officially licensed and rated for ages 14 and up.
Nightmare Before Christmas: Jack Skellington and Sally
Mezco's Living Dead Dolls line is giving The Nightmare Before Christmas the LDD treatment, with a Jack Skellington and Sally pre-order now live. It's Mezco's signature stylized sculpt rather than a screen-accurate figure, which actually suits a pair of characters already built around exaggerated proportions. The listing comes with a full gallery showing the pair from every angle, standard practice for a Mezco pre-order drop. With Halloween season in full swing, the timing is right for a property that tends to move fast once pre-orders open. No price has been announced yet.
Valorant Viper 1/12 Scale Figure
INART's 1/12 scale Valorant lineup continues with Viper, the chemist agent known in-game for her toxic gas control and radianite research. The figure is built from a mix of ABS, PVC, POK plastic, metal, and fabric, the combination InArt leans on to get real fabric costuming without sacrificing joint durability. Accessories cover an alternate masked head, six interchangeable hand pairs, her Helix Phantom and Snakebite Shorty replica weapons, a set of daggers, effect pieces for her gas abilities, and a display base. Video game figures rarely come with this much swap-out gear, and that kind of accessory density is exactly what we look for when referencing a piece for a commission.
Valorant Sage 1/12 Scale Figure
Sage joins INART's Valorant series as the support half of the pairing dropping alongside Viper, built around the character's healing and battlefield control kit. The box includes five interchangeable hand pairs, her Imperium Judge rifle, a Final Chamber Classic weapon, a knife, and her Blades of Imperium melee weapons. Her signature Healing Orb, Slow Orb, and Barrier Orb abilities are represented as separate effect pieces, and she comes on a display base with its own support arm to hold those effects in place. It's a thoughtful way to translate an ability kit into physical accessories instead of just handing her a gun and calling it done.
MOTU Origins Laser Light Skeletor
Mattel is revisiting one of the rarest figures from the vintage Masters of the Universe line with a deluxe Origins take on Laser Light Skeletor. The new version stands 5.5 inches tall on 16 points of articulation, with glowing red eyes and an illuminated right hand built in. It ships with a removable fabric cape, a translucent Havoc Staff accessory, and a mini comic, the kind of extra that makes an Origins release feel like an event instead of just another repaint. It launches October 12 at 12pm EDT exclusively through MattelCreations, with Club Grayskull members getting early access starting 9am PT that day through 8:59am PT the following morning before it opens to everyone else.

McFarlane Toys Poppy Playtime Wave 2
McFarlane's second wave of Poppy Playtime 7 inch figures is up for pre-order, rounding out the roster with Kissy Missy (Ruined), Huggy Wuggy (Classic), Daddy Long Legs, Nightmare Huggy Wuggy, Mommy Long Legs, and Chum Chompkins. Each figure runs $29.99 and is expected to ship in November 2026, so this is a reasonable entry point if the first wave passed you by. Poppy Playtime keeps proving itself as one of the stronger horror game licenses for physical figures, with McFarlane leaning into the exaggerated proportions and unsettling detail that make these characters work on a shelf. Six figures in one wave is a solid commitment to a license that's still relatively young.

Image Comics Founders Series: Witchblade
McFarlane's Image Comics Founders Series Elite Edition turns its attention to Sara Pezzini, the Witchblade, in a 7 inch figure loaded with extras. The set includes an alternate head portrait, six extra hands, four accessories, a Witchblade art print, and a collectible art card, plus a base designed to connect with other figures in the Founders Elite line. Buyers also get an Elite Points card, McFarlane's rewards system that unlocks prototype access down the line. Pre-orders open October 9 at 12pm EDT for a character, created by Marc Silvestri, who benefits from the extra sculpting McFarlane put into the Elite tier.
DC Multiverse: Batman & Spawn Gold Label 2-Pack
McFarlane is bringing back its Batman and Spawn pairing as a 7 inch Collector Edition Gold Label 2-pack, previewed ahead of Walmart's Fall 2026 Collector Con. The Gold Label treatment usually means upgraded paint and packaging over a standard release, and this crossover pack has been a fan favorite pairing since McFarlane first put the two characters together. Pre-orders open October 9 at 10am EDT exclusively through the Collector Con event. It's a good reminder that the Spawn and DC licenses still have real crossover appeal outside of a new comic story.
Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi: My Hero Academia Reissues
Kaiyodo is bringing back two of its Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi My Hero Academia figures, Shota Aizawa and Eijiro Kirishima, for a fresh production run. Aizawa is scheduled to ship in February 2027, with Kirishima following in June 2027. The Amazing Yamaguchi line is known for packing exaggerated, dynamic posing into Kaiyodo's Revoltech joint system, so a reissue is good news for anyone who missed these figures the first time around. No other details have been confirmed yet, with more on pricing and pre-order dates expected as Kaiyodo gets closer to each ship window.
Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi: Attack on Titan Reissues
Kaiyodo is also running back three Attack on Titan figures in the Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi line: the Attack Titan, Female Titan, and Armored Titan. The Attack Titan is scheduled for May 2027, with the Female Titan and Armored Titan following in July 2027. These titan figures are some of the more ambitious entries in the Amazing Yamaguchi catalog given the scale and sculpting the characters demand, so having all three back in production at once is a solid move for anyone building out the full cast. Kaiyodo says more details are still coming.
NECA Ultimate Savini Jason & Ghost Face
NECA's latest pre-order alert pairs two horror icons together: an Ultimate Savini Jason and a Ghost Face done up in a Santa's Slay variant. The Savini take on Jason reimagines him as if he'd fought his way out of Hell with a stolen infernal trident, translated into genuinely demonic looking fiery skin at 7 inch scale. He comes with interchangeable heads featuring light piping eyes, swappable hands, his Devil's Pitchfork, an extra mask, and smoke effect accessories to pose him mid-rampage. Jason Voorhees sculpts rarely get this much of a reinterpretation, which makes it a solid pickup for anyone chasing the character's weirder variants over the straightforward slasher look.

NECA Ultramate: Feral Predator & Ghostface
NECA is launching a brand new premium tier called Ultramate on October 8, kicking off with a Feral Predator and a Ghostface as the first two figures in the line. Pre-orders go live the same day through NECA's usual sponsor retailers. Ultramate sits above NECA's standard Ultimate releases, built around extra accessories and heavier packaging for collectors who want the flagship version of a character. Predator and Ghostface are a strong pair of launch characters to test the format on, since both already have a deep bench of NECA releases to compare the new tier against.
G.I. Joe Classified Series: Dreadnok Flatline
Hasbro's G.I. Joe Classified Series adds Dreadnok Flatline to the roster, with pre-orders opening October 13 at 1pm EDT. Flatline is one of the lesser known Dreadnoks to get the 6 inch Classified treatment, which keeps the gang's bench growing well past the characters most casual fans would recognize right away. The design leans into the kind of scrappy, mismatched gear look that's defined the Dreadnoks since their G.I. Joe cartoon debut. It's a solid pickup for anyone building out the full Cobra roster piece by piece rather than chasing the headline characters first.
Hasbro's New York Comic-Con 2026 Reveals
Hasbro used its annual New York Comic-Con press event to unload a wide spread of reveals across several lines. Marvel Legends adds Bolivar Trask and an X-Men '97 Bastion Nimrod, while Street Fighter's 6 inch line grows with Guile, M. Bison, Dark Ryu, and a Deluxe Blanka. Transformers got the heaviest coverage, with Age of the Primes bringing Voyager Class Guzzle and Cybershark alongside Leader Class Onyx Prime The Deceiver and Leader Class Starscream, plus a Studio Series wave revisiting the 2007 movie with Deluxe Jazz and Voyager Ironhide and Ratchet. That's a lot of ground covered in one press event, and the Transformers side stands out most for sheer character variety.

Star Wars TVC: Rebels Sabine, Ezra & Kanan Set
Hasbro's Vintage Collection line is finally giving Star Wars Rebels its own figure set, bundling Sabine Wren, Ezra Bridger, and Kanan Jarrus together for $79.99. The set isn't shipping until May 2027, which is a long wait, but Rebels has been underserved on the collectible side for years relative to how beloved the show is. Having all three ride together as a set rather than trickling out one at a time means completists don't have to chase down individual releases to build the core crew. It's a solid pickup for anyone who's been waiting on these characters to get the Vintage Collection treatment.
